the Challenge

Although their 2019 campaign ended in a victory at the Red Orange Bowl, College of Dupage football was just 15-17 over the previous three seasons. Unable to offer athletic scholarships, one of the biggest obstacles for the coaching staff at COD was recruiting.

In 2021, NJCAA football split into two divisions to separate competition among schools with equal resources. As the Chaparrals prepared for this new era, the coaching staff began seeking opportunities to separate themselves from the pack.

After seven seasons as an Associate Head Coach, Matt Rahn took over as the Head Coach at College of Dupage in 2021.

With a new era underway for both the NJCAA and COD, Coach’s top priority was ensuring his team got the most out of practice. Rahn was introduced to GoRout technology ahead of his first season at the helm and fully embraced the system.

By streamlining preparation and optimizing communication on the field, The College of Dupage football team was able to 3X their daily practice reps.

The Chaparrals have won back-to-back-to-back NJCAA Division-3 National Championships while playing against a predominantly NJCAA Division I schedule. They have become the premier program of NJCAA Division III football.
