the Challenge
The Cecilia High School Bulldogs Football team is far from unfamiliar with winning. However, even considering the tangible success that the program has experienced in recent history, the Bulldogs had a monkey on their back. The last time that Cecilia High School hoisted a Louisiana State Football Championship trophy was in 1995.
Head Coach Dennis Skains has been at the helm for the Bulldogs since 2016 and has established a winning culture. Staying on the leading edge of improvement and holding high expectations for the program had pointed the team in the right direction for years. In 2022, Coach made a decision to update the Bulldogs' weekly practice plan by taking their efficiency to the next level.

Coach Skains introduced GoRout to his program at Cecilia High School in 2022 and the results have been incredible. The Bulldogs have since won 32 games and have appeared in the State Championship game twice.
By updating communications and multiplying their reps in practice, the Bulldogs were able to replicate game speed on a daily basis. They maximized execution and unlocked ultimate efficiency in practice. Cecilia High School football was finally able to summit the mountain in 2024, claiming their first Louisiana State Football Championship in almost 30 years.
Since 2022, the Bulldogs have averaged 41.7 points per game and they are calling in over 4,000 practice reps on GoRout Scout per season.
