We sat down with Head Coach Larry Hill and Defensive Coordinator Craig Wersterfer to talk about how the Rangers used GoRout Scout on their way to Smithson Valley's first state championship in program history.
The Smithson Valley High School Football program was coming off of back-to-back District Championships and a Texas State Championship game appearance ahead of the 2024 regular season. With the standard for winning set, and only one more mountain to climb, Head Coach and Athletic Coordinator Larry Hill set his sights on offseason improvements
In seeking ways to improve practice efficiency, Coach Hill and his Defensive Coordinator, Chris Wersterfer, identified GoRout Scout. The system was a perfect innovation to help them achieve their goals. All they needed was a creative way to justify the purchase.

The Smithson Valley High School Football team wanted to add GoRout Scout to make their practice and preparation more efficient. The Baseball and Softball teams were interested in adding GoRout Diamond to help protect their coach-to-catcher communication on game days.
