The Vestal High School Golden Bears Football team had only made one playoff run in the past 25 years, and won just 8 games from 2019-2021. During that recent stretch of time, the team averaged 15.6 points per game and allowed 23 points per game on defense.
Former Head Coach James Crunden took over the program in 2021 and set his sights on turning things around.
First things first: Coach needed to identify a way to improve practices without reinventing the wheel.
