HELENA, Mont. (May 14, 2026) — The Frontier Conference announces a conference-wide agreement with GoRout, establishing the company as the exclusive provider of in-game wearable communication technology for football beginning with the 2026 season.

The partnership builds on GoRout’s role as the official coach-to-player communication provider of the NAIA, where it has supported programs across the country since 2024 with its sideline-to-player wearable system.

Under the new agreement, Frontier Conference football programs will have access to GoRout’s technology through preferred conference pricing. The partnership provides a streamlined path for teams choosing to adopt wearable communication, while establishing a consistent, conference-supported solution across the league.

This decision comes as the NAIA continues its shift toward wearable communication as the primary method for in-game play calling in football. By aligning as a conference, the Frontier is prioritizing consistency in competition, streamlined game operations, and equal access to modern technology for all member schools.

“As the best in class product of its kind, GoRout will spur improved wireless communication both in practice and game situations to further improve the product Frontier Conference teams put on the field during the season,” stated Scott Crawford, Commissioner.  “It will be exciting to see how wearable communication evolves not only in football but in other conference sports including baseball and softball.”

GoRout’s football system provides a sideline-to-player communication solution without the need for helmet modifications or additional in-game staff. By removing the constraints of traditional audio systems, programs are able to operate more efficiently while maintaining a focus on player safety and game-day execution.

Designed by coaches with real sideline demands in mind, GoRout’s platform delivers a reliable and easy-to-use communication experience. As part of the agreement, Frontier Conference football programs will receive:

  • 24/7 customer support

  • Lifetime device replacement warranty

  • Secure, encrypted communication system

  • Continuous software improvements driven by coach feedback

“The Frontier Conference is taking a forward-thinking approach to the future of football communication,” said Drew Robinson, Chief Strategy Officer at GoRout. “By implementing a conference-wide solution, they’re creating a more efficient, consistent, and coach-friendly environment across the league.”

In addition to game-day communication, GoRout continues to support program development through GoRout Scout, its football practice solution that allows teams to install and execute practices with increased tempo and efficiency.

More than 4,000 teams nationwide currently use GoRout technology, making it one of the fastest-growing communication platforms in amateur sports.
