New Home broke through in 2026, winning the UIL Class 2A Division I state championship with a 7-2 victory over Iola at Dell Diamond. The Leopards finished 30-8, scored five runs in the first inning of the title game, and captured the first state championship in program history after making their sixth state tournament appearance. With GoRout Diamond, New Home had a faster way to communicate calls and keep players connected as the Leopards paired early offense, clean defense, and steady execution to finish the job.
