What comes in a GoRout package?
Every GoRout package comes with: the requested number of devices; wrist/belt bands (equal to the # of devices included in your package); free access to GoRout STEEL (our online software platform); free access to our mobile app for iPhone, iPad & Android; and charging station(s) (depending on the number of units ordered).
Additionally, every package comes with software training, technical support, and a 100% hardware warranty*. *Warranty terms and conditions vary based on package.
What is the battery life on the devices?
Our devices have a battery life of about 6-8 hours, and will charge up to 80% of battery power within two hours.
Note: GoRout does suggest that all devices are charged after each practice.
How do I charge the devices?
As part of the GoRout package, you’re provided a charging station that is able to charge all of the devices in your package at one time.
How durable are the devices?
Our products are very durable and designed to be hit during contact at practice. They are shock-proof, dust-proof, and water-resistant/water-proof. So it doesn’t matter if it’s pouring rain, 100 degrees and humid, or below freezing, our products are designed to withstand any environmental factors.
What happens if a device breaks?
They rarely do, but every device comes with a 100% full-coverage warranty that includes breakage. (The warranty does not include lost/stolen items).
Is there a warranty on the devices?
Yes. We stand behind all of our products. If any of our hardware products break, malfunction, or are defective, we provide our customers with a 100% no-cost, replacement guarantee.

Are your devices safe for players to wear in-game?
Our devices are very strong and come with various levels of protection (padding, etc) to ensure players are protected.

What are some common uses for the GoRout system?

Do I need Wifi internet at my field to use GoRout’s system?
No. As of the 2017 season, all of our products use GoRout Air™. GoRout Air™ is the most advanced networking system we’ve ever built. Powered by a national infrastructure, GoRout Air™ uses a cellular-based system that allows our software and hardware to communicate via Licensed LTE coast-to-coast through our partnership with KORE Wireless, providing teams with the purest, cleanest, and most efficient way to transfer and send real-time play data on the field without disruption. No Syncing. No Routers. No Setup. No Wifi required.
Can we design plays in GoRout’s system?
No. GoRout’s software is only a scripting engine that enables you to practice more efficiently. Our software is designed for you to easily import any image file or PDF document (from Football Play Card, Hudl, XO’s or Visio for example) into your playbook and build scripts from there.
On sunny days, can you see the screens on the GoRout devices?
Yes. While we can’t make any display “anti-sun,” our GoRout display screens are very bright and are designed to be used in all types of lighting.
What about weather? Will it work in rain or heat?
The GoRout system can be used in all types of weather (high heat/humidity, snow, rain, etc.) without worry.
How many devices do I need?
The average high school package is between 7-16 units. But package sizes vary across levels due to many factors. A GoRout Sales Representative can work with you to determine the best possible package for your team and budget.
Is GoRout complicated to use?
GoRout was created BY COACHES FOR COACHES. Its as easy as dragging and dropping your play cards into our user-friendly scripting platform. Our support team is also available to answer any questions you might have when using our system.
What are some other unique uses for GoRout?
Road Game/Hotel Walk-Thrus: Our charging box doubles as a carry case for GoRout to be taken with you on the road or to use at the hotel (no additional equipment required).
Summer Camps: Teams use GoRout for 1v1's, diagrams of indy drills/stations for coaches, camp communication across multiple fields, etc.
Captains' Practices: Pre-load scripts into GoRout, players can push plays to each other without coaches needing to be present (NCAA permissible).
Freshmen Installs: Allow freshmen to use GoRout devices when they first arrive on campus to expedite learning (i.e a flash card on the field).

Football In-Game FAQs
Will this work in my stadium on game day?
GoRout is currently working with its national network partner to synchronize a solution across all NCAA and NFL stadiums. For High School teams, the GoRout system will work out of the box without any additional equipment to set up on gameday.
How durable are the devices?

How will this work in our staff's workflow?
Since GoRout’s in-game technology will be a fully customizable experience for you and your staff, our customer success team will be ready and able to train your staff on how to best implement GoRout in-game into your workflow.
Will other teams be able to see my play calls?
No. Each device comes with a 4-way privacy screen to protect your calls, so only players looking directly at the screen can view its content.
How secure are my play calls in the GoRout system?
Very. GoRout uses advanced encryption methods and secure network transmission systems to ensure your information is as secure as possible. Every GoRout system comes with a unique encryption key that is set at the server and device level for verification, preventing other teams from seeing your play calls.

Currently, no. If you want to use GoRout in-game, please contact your state's NFHS Football Rules Committee Voting Member and tell them you want GoRout for in-game use.
