We began using GoRout in the Summer of 2024. We used it throughout the summer during our 7-7 games just so our kids could get used to using it. Once the season started, GoRout took our Scout Offensive team to an entirely new level. As the season went on it just continued to get better. Our defensive reps probably doubled by the end of the season. In addition, our coaches on the scout side were not as frustrated because there was no huddle to manage, and they did not have to explain scout cards to each kid every play. The prep time in the first year was no more than what it would be writing up scout cards each week, and in 2025 most of the work is done except for slight additions to your opponents from last season.

It’s been incredible to see the impact GoRout has had on our practices… Scout periods have been a seamless transition from fall camp. I knew the impact that it had when I was in college but it has been probably greater in HS since we don’t have as many resources.

Gone are the days of a coach holding up a drawn up scout card. We can rattle off so many plays within a minute that it allows our defense and offense to get the reps they need to prepare them for the games. GoRout has been a complete game changer for us, especially being a junior college where we don’t have the funding of a Division 1 program.

GoRout has been a game-changer for our football program over that last two years. It has drastically improved our practice efficiency in all three phases of the game. We have been able to get almost double the amount of practice reps since converting to their system over using the traditional handheld card system. Due to GoRout, we have eliminated a lot of wasted time in practice and focused much more on the development of our players and their game readiness each week. GoRout has not only made us more efficient but it has improved the overall quality of our practices. GoRout’s system is easy for both coaches and players to use. It allows us to run scout team cards at a much faster pace and give us a more game-like feel in our team segments.

GoRout has immensely increased the number of reps on our scout teams (inside run, 7-on-7, and full team). Its ability to upload plays from Hudl has streamlined our process, reducing the workload year after year and eliminating the need to store countless play cards in the coach’s office. The ability to categorize segments of practice, send plays, coaches ability to flag and flip plays has reduced huddle time, allowing for more reps in practice which leads to less dead time in practice. GoRout devices have become an integral part of our daily practices thanks to their ease of use.
