After earning his degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Neal continued his playing career with three years of independent ball, spending stints with the Sioux Falls Canaries and Birmingham-Bloomfield Beavers.

When he decided to hang up his cleats, he stayed around the game as a coach with various stops and experiences along the way, He spent six years as a pitching coach at University of St. Thomas (2021-2026) and North Iowa Area Community College (2020-2021). He also dedicated three years to  Starters Sports Training as a Pitching/Arm Development Coordinator and Director of Marketing (2017-2020). With a lifetime of baseball experience, Neal brings a full-scale understanding of coaching needs and processes—a perfect addition to our sales team.
