Go Rout is a game changer for SXU Baseball. We value pace of play, and Go Rout allows us to control the tempo and work at a rapid rate. Hitters hate this because it’s pitch after pitch before they can settle in. We get a lot of eye contact warnings haha. We also love putting on pick plays. In the past, these have been verbal’s and not everyone knew them. Now they are coming from the watches where it’s more discreet and covert as I like to say. This helped us win a HUGE conference tournament game with a back pick to 3B with the bases loaded. It was a game saver, and helped us win a championship! Adding Go Rout is an absolute no brainer.

I cannot begin to tell you the effectiveness of this device and this system. In our system we have over 250 signs/commands and over the years you always had to worry about players knowing what signs you had on or more importantly if people were stealing your signs every game.
This system has changed the game. The days are gone where a player will miss signs because all you have to do is read the watch. You are able to put phrases and reminders in there, it’s almost like a coach speaking in the player’s ear.
Most importantly it’s simply overall piece of mind that no one is stealing any signs and doesn’t have the potential to. It is been highly effective on the defensive side, offensive side and with the pitcher and catcher signs. Now the entire field is on the same page every pitch. The days of screaming out numbers or hand signals are over. If you use GoRout the people at the company and behind the scenes do whatever they can to help you and make it an easy transition and make it very understandable. With the pitch clocks for hitters and pitchers it has sped the game up immensely and keeps the pace of play moving at all times..

We began using GoRout in the Summer of 2024. We used it throughout the summer during our 7-7 games just so our kids could get used to using it. Once the season started, GoRout took our Scout Offensive team to an entirely new level. As the season went on it just continued to get better. Our defensive reps probably doubled by the end of the season. In addition, our coaches on the scout side were not as frustrated because there was no huddle to manage, and they did not have to explain scout cards to each kid every play. The prep time in the first year was no more than what it would be writing up scout cards each week, and in 2025 most of the work is done except for slight additions to your opponents from last season.
