KANSAS — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has entered into a conference-wide partnership with GoRout, making the company the preferred provider of wearable coach-to-player communication technology for football across the conference beginning in 2026.

The agreement further strengthens GoRout’s growing presence throughout the NAIA, where it has served as the association’s official coach-to-player communication provider since 2024. The partnership provides KCAC member institutions with access to GoRout’s football communication platform through exclusive conference pricing and support.

As football communication technology continues to evolve across collegiate athletics, the KCAC is taking a proactive approach by providing its member schools with access to a proven, conference-supported solution. The partnership helps create consistency throughout the league while giving programs the tools needed to enhance communication, streamline operations, and improve game-day efficiency.

“The KCAC is blessed, and excited about this opportunity that GoRout has presented to our membership,” said KCAC Commissioner Brandon Buchanan. “Our football programs, and our student-athletes will benefit greatly from this partnership as we continue to improve student-athlete experiences across the board. We thank GoRout for its leadership in this space, and look forward to our relationship together.”

GoRout’s football platform delivers play calls directly from the sideline to players through wearable devices, eliminating the need for helmet-integrated communication systems or additional game-day personnel. The technology offers a simple, reliable alternative that allows coaches to communicate efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on player safety and operational simplicity.

Developed by former coaches who understand the demands of game-day communication, GoRout’s system is designed to be easy to implement and dependable under pressure. Through the conference partnership, KCAC football programs will receive:

  • Preferred conference pricing
  • 24/7 customer support
  • Lifetime device replacement warranty
  • Secure, encrypted communication technology
  • Continuous software enhancements based on coach feedback

“The KCAC has a strong tradition of competitive football and innovation among its member institutions,” said Drew Robinson, Chief Strategy Officer at GoRout. “We’re excited to work alongside the conference to provide a communication solution that helps coaches operate more efficiently and gives programs access to technology that’s quickly becoming the standard across the sport.”

In addition to game-day communication, GoRout supports football programs through GoRout Scout, the company’s practice communication platform that helps teams install game plans, increase practice tempo, and maximize efficiency throughout the week.

Today, more than 4,000 teams nationwide rely on GoRout technology across football, baseball, and softball, making it one of the fastest-growing communication platforms in amateur athletics.
