Longtime GoRout Diamond User and Athletes Unlimited Softball League Assistant Coach Joins GoRout team as Account Executive.
GoRout is excited to announced the addition of Josh Trevino as it’s newest Diamond Account Executive, strengthening the company’s commitment to serving baseball and softball coaches with experienced professionals who have lived the game at the highest levels.
Trevino joins GoRout after an accomplished collegiate and professional coaching career, most recently serving four seasons as the pitching coach at Texas State University and currently as an Assistant Coach with the Texas Volts of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), where he serves as the pitching coach for superstar Nijaree Canady.
What makes Trevino’s transition especially meaningful is that he isn’t new to GoRout.
As the pitching coach at Texas State, Trevino implemented and relied on GoRout Diamond for the past three seasons, using the platform to simplify coach-to-player communication, streamline game management, and allow his staff to spend more time coaching and less time worrying about signs. Having experienced the technology firsthand, he now joins the company to help other baseball and softball programs unlock those same benefits. Prior to his most recent stint at Texas State, Trevino was a Graduate Assistant at Arizona State University (2022) where the Sun Devils claimed the Pac-12 Conference Championship and made a run to the NCAA Super Regionals.
During his time at Texas State, Trevino helped lead the Bobcats to three NCAA Tournament appearances while developing some of the nation’s premier pitchers, including multiple Sun Belt Conference Pitchers of the Year and 2025 All-American Jessica Mullins. His coaching experience spans every level of the game—from recruiting and player development to competing on the national stage and now coaching professionally in the AUSL alongside many of the sport’s elite athletes.
As an Account Executive, Trevino will work with high school, travel, and collegiate baseball and softball programs across the country, helping coaches implement GoRout Diamond while sharing practical insight gained from years of coaching at the highest levels.
This latest addition to reflects GoRout’s continued investment in building a team made up of former coaches who understand the challenges of today’s game and are passionate about helping fellow coaches succeed.
