West Virginia: Arizona wide receivers coach Tony Dews is expected to be the new wide receivers coach on Dana Holgorsen’s staff, per sources. Rivals was the first to report the news.

NFL 1st & Future: Congratulations to our friends at GoRout who today were selected as the winners of the NFL’s 1st & Future contest hosted by Roger Goodell & GE Chairman Jeff Immelt. The 2017 competition focused on innovations that advance sports technology and athlete safety.

South Florida: West Virginia corners coach Blue Adams is joining Charlie Strong’s staff at USF reports Jason Higdon.

Pitt: Pat Narduzzi has let go defensive line coach Tom Sims, who spent the past two years on staff. Prior to joining Narduzzi at Pitt, Sims coached at Youngstown State.

Florida: Brad Davis has been announced as offensive line coach, and Corey Bell’s addition to the staff as defensive backs coach is now official. Davis coached offensive line at North Texas this past season.

Houston: Chris Scelfo is joining Major Applewhite’s staff as offensive line coach reports Joseph Duarte. The former Tulane head coach, was an assistant with the Atlanta Falcons from 2008-2014.

Florida: ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reports that Corey Bell will be the new defensive backs coach at UF. Bell coached DBs at FAU this past season and had agreed to join Charlie Strong’s staff at USF in January.

Washington Redskins: University of Florida defensive backs coach Torrian Gray is leaving to join the Redskins staff as defensive backs coach reports Zach Abolverdi.

San Jose State: Jamar Cain, who previously coached the defensive ends at North Dakota State (FCS), has been formally announced as defensive line coach. Prior to joining the NDSU staff, Cain was the defensive line coach at Wyoming, where he earned a promotion during the season to defensive coordinator.

Harvard (FCS – MA): The Harvard University football program invites applicants for the position of assistant defensive backs coach. Primary responsibilities will include national recruitment of academically-qualified student athletes, assisting in coaching DBs, and assisting with film breakdowns. In this full time, 12-month, benefits-eligible role, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, experience playing and/or coaching at the intercollegiate level, demonstrated success as a recruiter, and strong interpersonal skills. Mount Union (D-III – OH): Mount Union has hired Kyle Miller to be the offensive line coach at his alma mater. Miller played four seasons in the NFL and spent last season coaching tight ends at Ohio Northern (D-III).

Tyler (JC – TX): Per source, Southwestern Oklahoma State defensive line coach Alex Wierzbicki has accepted the defensive line job at Tyler Junior College.
