Rochester, Minn. (November 21, 2024) — GoRout, the leading provider of coach-to-player communication technology for baseball and softball teams of all levels, today announced a partnership with AWRE Sports, an advanced sports specific streaming, video, and data platform, to integrate AWRE Charting into GoRout’s existing coach-to-player communication systems. The integration will allow GoRout users to receive automated post-game and post-practice reports on pitch calls to quantify their effectiveness and impact on overall performance. All GoRout customers will have access to the AWRE Charting app free of charge.
Within the automated reports GoRout users will receive updates on pitch-accuracy in real-time along with execution scores, allowing coaches to examine properly executed pitches versus non-executed pitches during practice and in-game. Coaches will also be able to compare data from bullpen sessions versus in-game action, as well as wind up and stretch data, ultimately driving efficiency to their coaching models and game preparation.
“We’re determined to become a staple in every competitive baseball and softball program in the country,” states Ken Spangenberg, Chief Sales Officer at AWRE Sports. “Our partnership with GoRout not only bolsters our mission but also accelerates our efforts, utilizing their considerable influence and strong reputation. This partnership will provide coaches and players with highly sought-after data, in real-time, that will translate directly to on-field results.”
Earlier this month, GoRout announced the launch of Diamond 2.0, a new and upgraded system for the company’s Diamond sports customers. The technology has been adopted by over 1,300 teams nationwide, all of whom will now be equipped with AWRE Sport’s advanced player analytics including heat maps, spray charts, and AI Scouting Reports with the option to add any of the AWRE Sport’s advanced video and streaming tools.
GoRout officially partners with AWRE Sports
“Our partnership with AWRE Sports elevates GoRout Diamond 2.0 to an entirely new level,” GoRout CEO Mike Rolih said. “Our mission has always been to deliver seamless, limitless coach-to-player communication tools to baseball and softball teams, and now, with the integration of AWRE Sport’s cutting-edge data and metrics, we’re empowering coaches with even greater possibilities. This partnership will not only enhance the way teams practice but will play a critical role in real-time game decisions on the field. ”
Additionally, GoRout users will have the ability to immediately utilize AWRE Sport’s mobile video and streaming technology, allowing them to stream or upload video content that will be automatically edited and uploaded to player profiles. This high-quality, multi-angle video can then be used to drive player development, help teams win more games, and even aid in the recruiting process. College coaches and MLB Scouts can even search the AWRE Sports database to find specific players based on stats, video highlights, and other metrics.
